We are actively searching for an experienced BIM Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with basic IT protocols and 3-5 years of experience with products in the Autodesk ecosystem with a focus on Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and the Autodesk Construction Cloud. Supporting task will include responding to assigned help desk request involving Autodesk products and their plugins, occasional training of others, and helping to implement strategic initiatives for the firm.
Job Description
BIM Software Management:
Install, configure, and maintain Autodesk BIM software and associated plugins used by the firm
Troubleshoot software issues and provide technical support to team members
Ensure all BIM software is up to date and functioning optimally
Support:
Responding to assigned help desk request
Work with teams on implementing standards and best practices
Working with the IT department in identifying and resolving issues related to Autodesk products and plugins used by the firm
Working with Autodesk support when needed
Setting up projects in the Autodesk Construction Cloud
Basic family creation in Revit (Training provided)
Working closely with the BIM Director to implement strategic initiatives for the firm
Training:
Assist in providing training to team members on the use of Autodesk BIM software
Help to develop and update training materials and user guides
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience working with Autodesk BIM software, with a primary focus on Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and the Autodesk Construction Cloud
Strong understanding of basic IT protocols as well as BIM principles and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a desire for life-long learning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Relevant certifications in Autodesk products are a plus
