The City of Austin Development Services is seeking to fill a Residential Zoning Plans Examiner position at the B or C level to review residential building permit applications for zoning code compliance. The Residential Plan Review Division reviews new construction, additions, interior remodeling and partial demolition of single-family, duplex or two-family houses, townhouses and/or accessory buildings. Residential Review is comprised of two review disciplines: zoning (compliance with zoning regulations) and technical (compliance with the International Residential Code).
