Qualifications
Broad experience in architecture, including significant experience in a leadership role.
Licensed architect (or similar expertise) with the ability to make independent decisions regarding architectural methods, techniques, and practices.
Demonstrated expertise in managing all phases of architectural projects, from design to construction.
Ability to lead and manage project teams, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and project timelines.
Strong technical skills, with a detailed understanding of construction documentation, specifications, and materials.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Experience negotiating and optimizing design solutions with consulting engineers.
Ability to conduct thorough quality control reviews and ensure high standards of work.
Knowledge of local planning regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
Located within, or willing to relocate to, Montana, preferably within 50 miles of Great Falls, Montana.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative management style, including teamwork and effective communication.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and consultation skills
Proficient with building information models (BIM), able to handle computer-aided design (CAD) plans. Ability to become proficient in ArchiCAD with deliberate training and support. (Note: Some legacy projects, and collaborator files are still in Revit.)
Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets, we currently predominantly use Google tools, and related software.
Ability to translate client ideas into visual and/or tangible references including drawings or models
Ability to provide thoughtful and efficient design solutions.
Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements.
High attention to detail
Willingness to teach and learn.
Enthusiasm, passion, and curiosity.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Licensed Architect
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution required
