Basic Responsibilities Manages, oversees, and provides leadership to diverse staff with varying levels of expertise and a wide range of knowledge and work including space planning, construction, and coordination of District Capital & O&M Facilities projects consistent with the District’s mission, goals, and values. Responsible for oversight of the District’s overall physical plant master plan for Facilities department. Oversees and approves professional services, material, and construction procurement and miscellaneous contracts for Facilities. Works with staff to develop and implement standards, accurate budgets and processes for Facilities Planning & Engineering.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field OR the equivalent combination of directly related education and experience
Five (5) years of progressive applicable engineering or architecture experience, three (3) years of which are in a project lead capacity
Master’s Degree in appropriate Engineering or Architecture field
Licensed Professional Engineer or Architect in Washing State or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date of job
