This is your opportunity to work with a team of dedicated, creative and fun architects and designers on award-winning healthcare projects.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of one or more projects, managing all phases of the project from conceptual design through construction document delivery. In addition, the Senior Project Manager oversees and supervises the work of project team members within project team(s). Responsibilities for mentoring, coaching, and goal setting with team members.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or equivalent education in an AEC related field.
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a professional office setting,
Demonstrated history of success in leading a team and managing one or more projects, including the ability to monitor, adjust and maintain scope, schedule, and budgets of projects.
Familiarity with multiple project delivery methods.
Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, including the ability to recognize and successfully navigate client and agency challenges and/or issues.
Good communication skills
Experience or knowledge of Health Care and/or Science and Technology a plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees and supervises the work of project team members within project team(s). Responsibilities for mentoring, coaching, and goal setting with team members. The PM may help interview possible candidates.
Works independently with oversight for team members. Position works in coordination with a Project Director
Duties and Responsibilities for this position:
Using firm-wide tools and processes, establishes a balanced approach for ensuring project profitability, complete and thorough technical deliverables, and the design goals of the project(s).
Provides leadership at the project level, interacting with clients, staff, and consultants.
Develops the project budget and timeline, manages proposals and contracts, monitors financial progress, performs monthly client billing and revenue projections with the accounting and contracts team,
Understands building systems and code/agency issues that may arise
Participates in firm-wide resource allocation planning and forecasting.
Participates in marketing activities – supporting and writing proposals and interviews/interview preparation
Responsible for project quality control and following firm-wide standards.
Proficiency in accounting software, such as Deltek, BST, or similar software
Communicates with consultants, contractors, subconsultants and other disciplines to resolve project issues,
Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship within the firm,
Ability to facilitate, build team cohesion and consensus, and support team members in learning and growing
Participates in business development by deepening relationships with their clients and other potential clients
Participates in professional development activities, learning and training programs.
