SLO has an immediate opening for a Project Designer with a strong design sensibility and experience in K–12 educational, residential, and community-centered projects.

The ideal candidate is a motivated learner, collaborative team member, clear communicator, and enthusiastic advocate for thoughtful, sustainable design.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional design experience

• Bachelor of Architecture or higher

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Enscape

• Familiarity with AI-assisted design, VR, and Grasshopper a plus

• Experience with 3D modeling/printing, fabrication, and hands-on making

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (SLO is unable to sponsor H-1B visas)
